UPDATE: News 8 viewers have now paid Zeus's bill in full. Watch News 8 at 5 p.m. today, when Zeus goes home!CARLSBAD (CBS 8) - He was run down and left for dead, but now a dog named Zeus is on the road to recovery.
Zeus was hit by two cars in the North County over the weekend. While the two drivers took off, two Good Samaritans stepped in and rushed the dog to an animal hospital.
In the video below, Channel 8 News has more on how their actions saved Zeus's life.
