UCSD Faculty Visit Angel Care Veterinary Cancer Center

Arno J. Mundt MD, Professor and Chair, Mary Ann Rose MD, Professor and Medical Director (North County), and Joshua Lawson MD, Assistant Professor and Chief of the CNS and Radiosurgery Service, toured the
Angel Care Cancer Center in North County San Diego. A state-of-the-art facility founded in 2004 and staffed by board-certified veterinary medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and surgeons, the Angel Care Center focuses on multi-disciplinary veterinary oncology care including offering radiotherapy. Plans are underway to establish academic, research, education and training collaborations between the UCSD Radiation Oncology Department and the Angel Care Center.
