CARLSBAD (CBS 8) - There's good news to report about a yellow lab who survived after being hit by two cars in Oceanside.
Zeus was able to go home Thursday to continue his recovery - something that wouldn't be possible without the generous support of News 8 viewers.
More than $12,000 has been raised to pay his hospital bill in full.

CARLSBAD (CBS 8) - He was run down and left for dead, but now a dog named Zeus is on the road to recovery.
Zeus was hit by two cars in the North County over the weekend. While the two drivers took off, two Good Samaritans stepped in and rushed the dog to an animal hospital.
