Diplomate American College of Veterinary Surgeons
Dr. Dhupa is Director of Surgery at CVS. His areas of expertise include neurosurgery, surgical oncology and orthopedics, as well as advanced diagnostic imaging.
Prior to becoming a partner in CVS, Dr. Dhupa practiced with Vet Surgery Associates, a large surgical practice in Northern California.
Dr. Dhupa earned his Bachelor of Veterinary Science and completed a residency in anesthesiology at the University of Liverpool, prior to completing a second residency in surgery at Purdue University. Dr. Dhupa was board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2001.

Dr. Christian Osmond is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. After he earned his doctorate degree in veterinary medicine, he completed an internship in medicine and surgery at the Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group in Ventura, California. Dr. Osmond completed his residency in small animal surgery at North Carolina State University.
Dr. Osmond has broad clinical interests including both soft tissue, orthopedic, and neurosurgery. He spent one year at the Comparative Orthopedic Research Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin, Madison where he worked on several projects including arthroscopic shoulder and knee surgery. He has extensive experience with cementless total hip replacement and cranial cruciate ligament surgery. Additionally, he has a strong interest in oncologic (cancer) surgery.
When away from work, Dr. Osmond enjoys spending time with his wife, Linda and his pets: Taz, Spot, and Piper. He also enjoys flying airplanes and most outdoor activities such as biking, skiing, and backpacking.
Dr. Trostel is a staff surgeon at CVS. He has authored numerous publications over the last ten years and has expertise in arthroscopy, juvenile orthopedic diseases and wound healing.
Prior to joining CVS, Dr. Trostel completed his surgical residency at Mississippi State University and is board eligible. Additional experience includes working as a general practitioner prior to pursuing surgical training. Dr. Trostel also completed a rotating internship at the University of Illinois and a private surgical internship at Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center in Dallas, TX as well as Affiliated Veterinary Specialists in Orlando, Florida before entering his residency program.
Dr. Trostel earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University where he also was awarded a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, a Bachelor of Animal Science, a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and a minor in Chemistry.
