<span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; padding: 0px; margin: 0px;">Dr. Ogilvie, who leads CVS oncology services, is considered one of profession's leading experts on veterinarian care and research.&nbsp;<br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" /><br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" />Prior to joining CVS, Dr. Ogilvie worked to develop new, innovative cancer therapies at the prestigious French medical school, Universit&eacute; Fran&ccedil;ois Rabelais in Tours. His time in France was preceded by a 16-year tenure as professor, internist, head of medical oncology and director of the medical oncology research laboratory at Colorado State University.&nbsp;<br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" /><br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" />In addition to authoring two books, Dr. Ogilvie has been a past winner of the annual Veterinarian of the Year award from both the American Veterinarian Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association. He has been awarded $5 million in research grants in the last five years, as well as the first nationally and internationally patented nutritional formula that can be used to control cancer and enhance quality of life.&nbsp;<br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" /><br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" />Dr. Ogilvie received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University and completed a residency at Tufts University's Angell Memorial Animal Hospital. Dr. Concannon oversees emergency and critical care services at CVS' San Marcos facility. He has practiced exclusively as an emergency/critical care clinician since 1989. Following graduation from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University, Dr. Herndon completed internship training at the Ryan Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Pa. He finished residency training in cardiology at the Veterinary Referral Center, Little Falls, N.J., and the Ryan Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Pa. His areas of interest include hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, therapy of heart failure, diastolic dysfunction, and electrophysiology.&nbsp;<br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" /><br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" />Dr. Herndon is a board certified cardiologist and provides full service cardiovascular diagnostics and therapeutics-including pacemaker implantation, balloon valvuloplasty, and coil occlusion for patent ductus arteriosus. He is a featured consultant in cardiology on the Veterinary Information Network (VIN).&nbsp;<br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" /><br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" />Dr. Herndon is conducting clinical research to develop blood tests for dogs and cats that may aid in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. Dr. Mohammadian is a radiology specialist at CVS. She is trained in diagnostic imaging including radiographs, ultrasound, contrast studies, nuclear medicine, computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), with a special interest in cancer imaging and minimally invasive biopsies.&nbsp;<br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" /><br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" />Prior to joining CVS, Dr. Mohammadian completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology and a Master's in Specialized Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University. She worked in general practice prior to her residency, and also completed a rotating internship in a small animal medicine and surgery at the Emergency Animal Hospital and Referral Center in San Diego.&nbsp;<br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" /><br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" />Dr. Mohammadian earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University. Dr. Proulx is head of radiation oncology and a member of Angel Care Cancer Center at California Veterinary Specialists (CVS). His areas of expertise within oncology include both medical and radiation oncology. Prior to joining CVS, Dr. Proulx completed a small animal internship at North Carolina State University. After completing a medical oncology residency in 2003 and a radiation oncology residency in 2005, also at North Carolina State University, he earned board certification as a specialist in medical oncology and radiation oncology. During this training Dr. Proulx also earned a Master's Degree in Specialized Veterinary Medicine.<br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" /><br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" />Dr. Proulx earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University. Dr. Krawiec is Director of Medicine at CVS. He has more than 25 years of experience in veterinary medicine.&nbsp;<strong></strong>During his career, Dr. Krawiec has lectured extensively on numerous topics in internal medicine and has published more than 75 research articles and book chapters.&nbsp;<br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" /><br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" />Prior to becoming a partner in CVS, Dr. Krawiec was Chief of the Small Animal Medicine Section and a professor at the University of Illinois, School of Veterinary Medicine.&nbsp;<br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" /><br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" />Dr. Krawiec earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University where he also received a Master's in Pathology. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Colorado State University. Dr. Krawiec was awarded board certification by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 1985, and completed both a rotating internship and a residency in internal medicine at the University of Minnesota. <p style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;">Dr. Bowdre is a staff emergency and critical care doctor at California Veterinary Specialists. &nbsp;He earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2003 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Colorado State as well. &nbsp; He joined CVS in 2007 after completing an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Animal Urgent Care and Specialty Group in Escondido, California.</p>

Dr. Grady is a staff emergency room and critical care veterinarian for CVS. He has practiced as an emergency clinician for more than 20 years in Alaska, Arizona, Wisconsin, Illinois and California. During this time, Dr. Grady has also pursued interests in wildlife medicine and conservation, including participating in rehabilitation projects related to the Exxon Valdez disaster.&nbsp;<br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" /><br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" />Prior to joining CVS, Dr. Grady practiced at North County Emergency Animal Clinic before it was acquired by CVS.&nbsp;<br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" /><br style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" />Dr. Grady earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota. <p class="p1">Dr. Marcella Ashton obtained her Veterinary degree from the&nbsp;University of Pretoria in South Africa in 1992. Afterwards,&nbsp;Dr. Ashton spent twelve months working in a mixed animal&nbsp;practice in Norfolk, England.&nbsp; She spent a year of post&nbsp;graduate training in the Equine Unit at the Animal Health&nbsp;Trust in Newmarket, England. She received her Foreign&nbsp;Veterinary Graduate Equivalency Certification and joined a&nbsp;small animal practice in southwest Florida 2000. Dr. Ashton&nbsp;completed an ophthalmology internship in Las Vegas,&nbsp;Nevada, followed by an ophthalmology clerkship at Eye Care&nbsp;for Animals in Tucson, Arizona in 2003.&nbsp; She went on to&nbsp;complete a three-year veterinary ophthalmology residency&nbsp;program with Eye Care for Animals in Tucson in 2008 and&nbsp;became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary&nbsp;Ophthalmologists.
